In December, Jeremiah, who is 4 1/2, had an assessment for a preschool program, during which he was given a simple eye exam.... which he failed with flying colors. So we made an appointment with an eye doctor to get a more detailed exam and a prescription if necessary. Sure enough, it was necessary. Jeremiah, just like his mommy who got her first pair of glasses at 5 years of age, has an astigmatism. Unlike his mommy though, Jeremiah looks Awesome in his glasses which he picked out himself to look like his daddy's. He is pretty happy to have his glasses, he thinks he looks great, and better yet, he really enjoys not being blind.

What a handsome little guy. It feels like it's already been forever since we've seen you. Just know we still think about you. Zeb's good friend just joined the army and heads to boot camp in April. They have two little girls. So when we found out, we thought of you. Zeb's mom might be going to see his sister in Minnesota and then head to Nauvoo for a bit. Hey, Nauvoo's in Illinois, so we thought of you. I'm glad we have you as our friends, but more than that, I believe there's some credit due to you guys for helping us when we came back to church. So we get to be eternal friends. Love you all.
